This copy of Sam Byrd's contract with the American Leaugue Baseball Club of New York, Inc. is in EX/MT condition with very few wrinkles and no discoloration on the paper. Also signing this contract besides the player Sam Byrd, often referred to as Babe Ruth's legs since he was often used as a pinch runner towards the end of Ruth's career, are William Harridge, the club's president and team president,Jacob Rupert.
