1934 Giants/Yankees Goodrich WEAF Radio Broadcast Store Display Sign

From 1922 to 1946, WNBC radio in New York City was known by the call letters WEAF, and this vintage store display proudly promotes a baseball talk show covering two of New York's three baseball franchises. Cut from a bigger ad, the sign measures 26" x 34.5" and is flanked on the left and right by illustrations of a pitcher and catcher with the following message in the middle: "FOLLOW THE GIANTS AND YANKEES GOODRICH PLAY BY PLAY BASEBALL SUMMARY WEEK DAYS 7 P.M. SUNDAYS 11 P.M."
