1934 Tour of Japan Babe Ruth & Connie Mack Photograph
From the 1934 barnstorming tour of Major League baseball players in Japan comes this image of a pair of legends. Seated in the center of the group of four is Babe Ruth - looking none too thrilled despite being resplendent in plain clothes and leis - seated next to manager Connie Mack. The 10x8" black & white photo is in EX condition with very minor creases, and the reverse is blank except for two small tabs of white tape, presumably from display. The Bambino was much happier on the field, crashing 13 homers as the American squad swept all 18 contests.
