1934 Tour of Japan Premium Photo
A phenomenal piece of advertising from the 1934 Tour of Japan. Printed on slightly and evenly toned thin cardboard is the American team that toured Japan, along with the Japanese participants. Displays the facsimile signatures of everyone pictured. Babe Ruth and Connie Mack are standing at the center. Prior to 1934, professional American all-star teams began traveling to Japan to play exhibition games and promote the sport. There were tours in 1908, 1913, 1920, 1922, and 1931.
