Ruth appeared in the lineup that Opening Day, batting third in the scorecard dated April 16, 1935 - his first game with the Braves - and delivering an RBI single and two-run homer to the delight of an adoring crowd that heartily applauded The Babe's National League debut. It comes with a 5x9.5" Type I photo stamped "April 24 1935." Also included in the lot are: 2) Scarce media guides from 1931, 1937, 1940 (Stengel cover), 1942-45, 1947-50 (two different 1948 versions) and 1952.
