Jimmy Braddock fought Max Baer on June 13, 1935 at the Madison Square Garden Bowl in Long Island City. Braddock, the Cinderella Man and heavy underdog in this fight, won by decision after 15 rounds to win the Heavyweight Title. Offered here is an original paper poster advertising the fight. The paper has been professionally linen-backed, is bold in color and print with mild toning from age. Minor soiling. 18" x 24." Scarce poster from one of the more remembered fights in boxing lore.
