1935 New York Cubans Photographs (3)
Here’s a trio of 4 x 6 B&W photos of the 1935 New York Cubans, an amazing ensemble of predominately Latino players. These photos capture the great pitchers on that team: Dihigo, Diaz, Garcia, Tiant, Fernandez, Stanley, Blake and Taylor. Each stands proudly with hands behind back, dressed in uniform and jacket. Each photo has in the lower right corner, in white, “Photo by Weems”. There is writing on the back of each, but all are o/w in excellent condition.
