1935 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball
Vintage sphere saved for almost 70 years by the son of a former Yankee Stadium and Polo Grounds security employee, who retrieved it at the ballpark and obtained all of the signatures in person. Twenty four bold (8-9/10) black fountain pen signatures including: Gehrig (a solid "8" penned dead center on the sweet spot, but with a scuff mark from game use touching several characters in the last name), Combs, Dickey, Gomez, Lazzeri, Rolfe, Crosetti, Selkirk, Hill, Ruffing, Allen, and more. Scuffed and soiled Official American League baseball (Harridge) was once mounted in a display and has a mounting hole on the opposite sweet spot, not affecting any of the signatures. LOA.
