1935 Ty Cobb Single Signed Baseball
Arguably the greatest player in the history of the game, Ty Cobb finished his remarkable career with a .366 lifetime batting average, 4,189 hits, and 2,246 runs scored. Offered is an unofficial ("Reg'lar Fellers") baseball signed boldly by Cobb in black fountain pen ink. Cobb has dated his signature "12/19/35", thereby separating this ball from the more commonly seen specimens signed during the 1950's and early 1960's. The beautifully flowing Cobb signature rates a 9 out of 10 in strength, while the lightly toned baseball rates a strong Excellent to Mint (EX-MT). Overall, this is a fantastic example of a Cobb "single", with tremendous visual appeal.
