1966 Pie Traynor Single Signed Baseball
He is among the Pirates all-time leaders in every offensive category, save HRs. Despite being a native New Englander, Traynor was very popular in Pittsburgh. Elected to the HOF in 1948, Traynor was also selected as a member of the all-time team for baseball’s centennial (1969). After his career ended as a player, Traynor was a manager for the Pirates for 5 years, and then scouted for Pittsburgh for the rest of his life. Non-official baseball bears Pie Traynor’s NRMT signature and is dated June 12, 1966. Ball is EX-MT.
