Scarce poster issued in promotion of the 1936 Winter Olympics, held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, The colorful image pictures a generic male skier bearing the Olympic logo on his chest. The text along the base lists the location and the dates ("6th-16th February 1936."). Printed in Germany, as noted along the base. The poster (24x39"; visible dimensions), which appears to be dry mounted upon a white backing, displays water staining throughout, moderate creasing, and numerous small edge tears.
