1936 Massillonian Year Book Signed by Paul Brown
Hall of Fame coach Paul Brown forever changed the game of football. Brown was the first pro coach to grade his players using game film, give his players IQ tests, develop a full playbook have extensive classroom sessions with his players. He also invented the "messenger guards" to call plays from the sideline. Years before he founded the Cleveland Browns, Paul Brown started coaching high school football in Ohio and in 1935, he led Massillon to an undefeated season. Presented is the 1936 Massillon High School Yearbook signed by Brown beneath his photo in neat black fountain ink "Paul E. Brown". The signature rates a "9.5" out of a possible 10. Many other students and faculty signed the yearbook as well. A game-by-game recap of the 1935 Massillon season is included with great vintage photographs of this all-time great football coach. EX-MT.
