1937 Seeburg Synphonia "Royale"

1937 Seeburg Synphonia "Royale"

A rare treasure in juke box collecting. This beautiful art-deco style 20-record sliding tray machine with walnut veneer (78 RPM) is one of the last all-mechanical juke boxes to display the record changing mechanism behind a clear glass window. After 1937 the cabinets were drastically re-designed using opaque light-up plastics and record changers were always hidden from view. They just don't make 'em like they used to - these early Seeburg juke boxes possessed superior sound quality due to the use of a high output magnetic pickup. Among the 20 records in the machine: "Happy Holiday" & "Don't Let That Moon Getaway" (Bing Crosby); "Tell Me That You Love Me" (Tony Bennett); "My Guys Come Back", "After You've Gone", "A String of Pearls" & "My Blue Heaven" (Benny Goodman); "Someone" (Duke Ellington); "My Romance" (Frank Sinatra); "Blueberry Hill" (Louis Armstrong); "But She's My Buddy's Chick" (Nat King Cole). Juke box measures 55x35x23". Just serviced with new AMP wheels. In full working condition! EX
