1937 War Admiral "Triple Crown" Kentucky Derby Program

1937 War Admiral "Triple Crown" Kentucky Derby Program

Official program from the 63rd running of the Kentucky Derby in 1937, won by legendary Triple Crown winner War Admiral. Running from the one post, War Admiral wired the Debry field, winning the race with a time of 2.03.2. A week later he won the Preakness, and a month later the Belmont Stakes to become just the fourth horse in history to win the Triple Crown. The program (4x10.25") displays oxidation to the staples, pencil notations on many of the pages, and light staining along the top border of the back cover. Very Good condition overall.
