1938 Boston Braves Game Worn Jersey
Ultra-rare single year style is the only specimen of the type that we've ever seen. It was worn by a pitcher named Mike Balas (his last name is stitched in the collar), who pitched only a single inning in his entire baseball career. Heavy pinstriped flannel is blessed with the unusual "B" over the heart. Three-dimensional number "26" on verso. Collar tagging is from "Horace Partidge Co. Athletic Goods, Boston." Very minimal foxing is the only detraction, and display value doesn't suffer at all from it. You'll be struck by lightning before you ever see another one like this. Includes wool undershirt that was worn with the jersey.
