1938 Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling II Full Ticket
On June 22,1938 at Yankee Stadium in New York Joe Louis met Max Schmeling for the second time. The bout was for Louis' heavyweight title. Louis, embarrassed in their first meeting, won the bout by KO in the 1st round. Presented here is an original full, unused on-site ticket for the bout. This full ticket measures 2 3/4 inches by 7 1/4 inches. The ticket shows edge and corner wear. The back shows wear. Not creased. The front is illustrated and clean. Has a section, row and seat number. One of the most desirable tickets and a must for any boxing collection.
