Notes: Original artwork for the popular “Prince Valiant” comic strip by Hal Foster. Val falls through the ice after hearing the prophecy of Horrit the Witch. In the top right and left corners are original artwork for the “Horrit the Witch” and “Thorg Son of Horrit” comic stamps. These stamps were clipped and saved by children from the Sunday paper and are collectible as well. The 2nd page is signed by Foster in the lower right corner. Foster is in the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame. Two pieces, both 22 x 28.5’’. The original Sunday color comic that goes with this artwork is present as well. <br><br>Condition: Excellent.
