1939 Centennial Collection

1939 Centennial Collection

Eighteen 2.5x3.5" photos and a rare ticket stub tell the story of sport's biggest event of 1939-the centennial celebration of the invention of baseball by Abner Doubleday. Amongst the images are shots of the parade through Cooperstown, the exterior of the Hall of Fame, the "1850" recreation game, a photo of Mack and Landis together, and much more. The ticket is headlined with "Cavalcade of Baseball Auspices of National Baseball Centennial Commission" and has strong color, text, and graphics (EX+).
