1939 Hillerich & Bradsby Oversized Advertisement

1939 Hillerich & Bradsby Oversized Advertisement

Absolutely stellar 1939 Hillerich & Bradsby advertisement featuring members of the Baseball Hall of Fame on Louisville Slugger's Honor Roll. The poster reads "It is hardly a coincidence that so many members of Baseball's Hall of Fame occupy a place of honor on the Louisivlle Slugger roster of famous users of Louisville Slugger Bats. . . . All honor to those stalwart builders of the game who have gone before and honor, too, to those living members whose names share their glory." Photos of Ruth, Cobb, C,ollins, Lajoie, Sisler, Wagner, Gehrig and Speaker adorn the outer portion of the poster, which also lists all members of the first three Hall of Fame classes (1936-1939), except for Anson, Ewing, Radbourn, Comiskey, Cummings and Spalding. It has been beautifully framed in a complementary green to 23x30". This oversized cardboard advertisement features photos of some of the game's earliest stars in connection with one of the sport's oldest companies. The icing on the cake is that its display quality is impeccable. Minor creasing at bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.
