1939 Joe DiMaggio Spalding Advertising Poster
Can you feel the glove tonight? Spalding mitts are the focal point of this 20x27" advertising poster that is headlined by Hall of Fame outfielder Joe DiMaggio but also includes the names of other stars such as: Jimmie Foxx, Bill Dickey, Gabby Hartnett and Wally Schmidt. There are also uniforms, coats, undershirts and even "supporters" listed in the ad, which has original folds and some minor staining but otherwise displays beautifully. Note the 1939 World Series reference in the lower uniform section.
