1939 NY Yankees World Series Brown Bat
This New York Yankee World Series brown bat measures 35" long and celebrates the World Championship of 1939. It features the facsimile signatures of the respective team members incised in the wood, including Lou Gehrig and Joe DiMaggio plus Earl Combs, Tony Lazzeri, Charles Red Ruffing, Lefty Gomez, Bill Dickey, Tommy Henrich, and Manager Joe McCarthy. Signatures are incised in gold, silver, red and black. The names are intact and bold, "New York Yankees World Champions" is a bit worn. Overall strong EX condition and uncommon as these were only presented to players and VIPs.
