1939 Play Ball Collection (111 Cards) with HOFers!
In 1939, after several successful non-sports offerings, Gum, Inc. issued their first set of baseball cards, a square black and white issue full of the game's top stars of the day. The collection of 111 cards (only seven dupes) includes a half dozen HOFers, which are individually graded below. Includes: HOFers - six cards w/#3 Ruffing (VG), 7 Doerr (VG/EX), 50 Gehringer (VG), 55 Vaughan (EX), 82 Klein (VG) and 89 Lloyd Waner (EX).
