1939 Tony Galento vs. Joe Louis Autographed Oversize Postcard (PSA)
A 1939 oversize postcard featuring Tony Galento and Joe Louis during their July 28, 1939, bout. This card was a souvenir from Galento‚s cocktail lounge in Orange, New Jersey and was signed by Galento. The card depicts Galento‚s knockdown of the champ. Although Galento lost the bout, he was not KO‚d and the bout was called by the referee. After the defeat, Louis and his manager would refuse a rematch with Galento. The auto is authenticated and encapsulated by PSA and the case has no cracks.
