1940's College All Stars GU Football Uniform
This authentic jersey was used during a preseason game in the late 1940's at Soldier Field, Chicago, where the College All-Stars played the NFL Champs. The inside bottom of the jersey bears a May & Halas, Inc. tag, and shows the size "46". The number "38" in single tackle twill is on the front and back of the jersey. The jersey shows moderate use, with no evident alterations made. The pants are made of dureen, like the jersey, and were manufactured by Wilson. The tag inside the waist shows the size "38". A tag in back of this says, "L". The pants also show moderate use. LOA.
