A rare jersey of monumental proportions, this style is limited to a three-year time period, worn by pitcher, Ken Raffensberger of the Chicago Cubs. Sleeveless zip-up road jersey with distinctive front tail has "Chicago" stitched across the chest in blue felt lettering. Underlined by embroidered red stripe. Verso is "16". Red, white & blue "Spalding" tag in the collar. Collar with red embroidered trim. Nice game use with staining throughout the jersey and sweat stained collar line. "Raffensberger" embroidered on plate in back tail by the left seam. On either side of the inside right seam are [set] "1" and [size] "40" tags.
