1940 Cuban Almendares Game Worn Jersey
Gray flannel "road" jersey from the Cuban powerhouse and favored team of Fidel Castro. "Almendares" arches across the chest in blue felt block letters while a matching number "23" is sewn to the reverse. The jersey displays tremendous game use throughout with some staining to the right tail and small (less than 1/8") hole to back right shoulder. Tagged in the collar "Tarin Sports" with [size] "4" flagtag. A rare imported relic not likely to be seen again for some time.
