1940 Inaugural Hall of Fame Game Program

Tremendous program from the first Hall of Fame game held on June 13, 1940, at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, NY. The Hall of Fame was opened a year prior to much fanfare, but no official Major League Baseball game was played. The program is fully scored and includes legends like Jimmie Foxx and Ted Williams, who hit two home runs during the game. It is overall EX with minor toning inside.
