1940 Jackie Robinson Last UCLA Football Game Ticket Stub PSA VG-EX 4 (Pop 1 - Two Higher)
Despite his legendary status for breaking Major League Baseball's color barrier, many fans remain unfamiliar with the fascinating life and other accomplishments of Jackie Robinson. Among those accomplishments, Jackie was a 4-sport athlete during his time at UCLA, playing basketball, excelling at both football and track and field and, ironically, struggling as a baseball player. Offered is a ticket stub from Robinson's last football game with the Bruins, dated Saturday, November 30, 1940. Measures 4.5x2.5", billing California at Los Angeles (UCLA) versus Southern California (USC); the Trojans prevailed by a 28-12 margin. Encapsulated by PSA, graded VG-EX 4, slight paper loss on back from tear at perforation, slight discoloration but retains superb eye appeal.
