1940 John L. Sullivan & Jack Kilrain Lincoln Distilling Advertising Signs (2)
From circa 1940, this Lincoln Inn Distilling Co. cardboard-framed advertising displays with an easel back; one is of Boxer John L. Sullivan and the other is Jake Kilrain, both are fighting bare-knuckled so these signs both celebrate an earlier era. These originate from a series advertising Silver Dollar Bourbon Whiskey, a collection of sporting prints from the Lincoln Inn Distilling Co. Both signs measure 13.25" wide by 19" high. Great full color lithography makes an excellent presentation, in EX-MT condition.
