1940 Lone Ranger Premium Advertising Flyer

1940 Lone Ranger Premium Advertising Flyer

One of the most popular television characters of all time is the Lone Ranger. Saved from death by Tonto after an ambush, the surviving Texas Ranger (thus, "The Lone Ranger"), became a cult hero in the old Wild West "living bravely for the good of others and the defense of justice." The Lone Ranger trading card set is very popular, and while difficult to locate nice examples, the large Lone Ranger premiums are near impossible to find. These 8x10" color cards were available for corresponding numbers of Lone Ranger wrappers, with five wrappers getting a child one premium, with 25 wrappers (that's a lot of gum!) allowing a trade-in for the complete set of five premiums. This 8x10" advertising flyer tells you all you need to know about the redemption program, and displays each of the premiums on the front side, with full text on the reverse. This extremely rare flyer is in EXCELLENT condition with one light corner wrinkle, but with solidly square corners.
