Awesome collection of signed photos from 1940s and '50s Hollywood stars and starlets. The impressive list of glitterati includes 8x10" signed photos from Joan Crawford, Joe E. Brown, Jimmy Durante, Rosemary DeCamp, Adeline De Walt Reynolds (2), Florence Bates, Kitty Carlisle, Geraldine Farnum, Joan Carroll, Minna Gombell, Edward Arnold, Joy Gwynell and Vanessa Brown, and smaller 5x7" photos of Edward G. Robinson, Faye Emerson, Cecil Kellaway, Gracie Fields, Adele Jergens, Greta Gynt, Nanette Parks, Barbara Belden, Frances Langford, Janis Paige, Ruth Warrick, Elsa Janssen, Janette MacDonald, Barbara Brown, Dorothy Day, Julie Bishop, Barbara Hale, Grace McDonald and Charlie Ruggles. All were removed from albums, with minor paper loss on backs, and either inscribed or personalized to James McCray. A few are affixed to cardboard backings, and it's possible that 10-15% are secretarial. Signatures average 7/10.
