1940s-50s Team-Signed Baseball Collection of Six (All PSA)
An impressive collection of six ONL Frick and OAL Harridge balls averaging 26 signatures apiece signed by teams from the 1940s and '50s. 1) Signed on Opening Day by the 1946 Washington Senators featuring Clark Griffith "April 16,1946" on the sweet spot. Also includes Altrock, Vernon, Leonard, Bluege and Ferrell. 2) 1945 St. Louis Browns including Gray, Muncrief, Sewell, McQuinn and Gutteridge. 3) 1942 St. Louis Cardinals featuring Musial, Southworth (ss), Slaughter, Walker, W. Cooper and M. Cooper. 4) Mint condition ball signed by the 1949 Boston Braves including Southworth (ss), Sain, Holmes, Elliot, Torgeson, Stanky and Cooney. 5) 1950 Cleveland Indians including Simmons, Doby, Boudreau (signed later), Wynn, Rosen, Hegan, Lemon and Gordon. 6) 1947 St. Louis Browns including Combs, Ruel, Muncrief, Heath, Stephens and Peters. The signatures average 7.5/10, however the Braves ball rates 9/10. Each comes with a PSA LOA.
