1940s-60s Topps & Bowman HOFers with J. Robinson & Mantle (8)
There were a lot of great players on the Yankee and Dodger teams of the 50’s and 60’s – here’s a great group of pasteboards of their very best! This collection includes: - 1949 Bowman #84 Campanella RC: nicely centered, good color. Soft corners, VG to VG-EX; - 1949 Bowman #50 Robinson: nice corners, but only PR-FR due to light glue residue and minor creasing on front. Back has some paper loss due to removal from scrapbook; - 1954 Topps #10 Robinson: PR-FR, with rounded corners and creasing. Some paper loss on reverse; - 1955 Topps #50 Robinson: EX+, nicely centered front and back; - 1956 Topps #30 Robinson: EX+, again great centering front and back; - 1962 Topps #18 Manager’s Dream (Mantle/Mays): EX, oc; - 1966 Topps #50 Mantle: EX, slight oc; - 1967 Topps #150 Mantle: VG; nice color, focus but corner wear. Nice group of stars from Flatbush and the Bronx!
