1940s-90s Theater World Hand-written Resumes Signed by Famous Actors (1000+)
Hollywood can be an awfully lonely place for a struggling actor - a reality poignantly underscored by the items in this lot. Most of these resumes are from wannabe stars, although a few are from famous actors, depicting names, addresses and past performances. Among the best of the lot are Raul Julia, Uta Hagen, Laurence Fishburne, Peter Sagar Squad, Werner Klemperer, Jose Ferrer and 1940s actor Richard Heart. Also included here are the unsigned resumes of Ginger Rogers, Bill "The Hulk" Bixby, and most notably, Greg Louganis. The materials are all hand-written, adding authenticity and, in an unusual way, a sense of anonymity.
