1940s Don Gutteridge St Louis Browns "Dollar Sign" Baseball Jacket

1940s Don Gutteridge St Louis Browns "Dollar Sign" Baseball Jacket

This jacket was owned and worn by Don Gutteridge, who played for the St. Louis Browns during the period of 1942-1945. The chenille applique S over L looks like a dollar sign, leather sleeves with a 4 by wrist. Made by King Sporting Company, brown wool with orange and white trim, light tan leather sleeves. Size 44, the sleeves have minor soiling and there are holes in the pockets, but the wool is clean and bright and there are no other flaws besides the ones mentioned.
