1940s Joe DiMaggio's Restaurant Autographed Lamp
Taken straight out of Joe DiMaggio's restaurant in Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco. Ornate lamp in excellent condition is made from large seashells, one as the stand, the other as a colorful reflective device for the bulb, which hides behind another, smaller seashell. Looks AMAZING when it is lit. Signed on the bottom seashell by the Yankee Clipper in blue sharpie. In the 1980s our consignor brought it to Joe DiMaggio to have it signed by him. The normally surly Joe, brightened immediately, and recognized it as being from his restaurant and signed it with a flourish.
