1940s Mel Ott Photograph (PSA Type I)
Original Type I photograph capturing New York Giants slugger Mel Ott kneeling in the on-deck circle, circa 1940s. Ott was player manager of the Giants from 1942-1947. A Brown Brothers label and four Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with a remnant of the original paper news caption. The photo (8.5x6.5") displays light creasing throughout. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
