1940s San Francisco Seals Jacket
Early couture baseball fashion, this jacket is yearning to be reproduced for today's cutting edge retro fashion. Wool jacket with cinched collar and cuffs in pure "Seals" red and white, it sports size 40 Wilson tagging in the collar. The interesting brown cashmere body gives it a purely California look, the home to baseball past the Mississippi pre-1958. Some of the best players took not-so-"minor" refuge to play in the California sunshine and San Francisco was no stranger to this practical phenomenon.
