1941 Hugh "Shorty" Ray Signed NFL Football Record Book
The Holy Grail of football autographs, this 1941 Roster and Record Manual is in EX condition with Clarke Hinkle on the cover. Most importantly, it is signed on first page by HUGH RAY (7.5/10), who is joined by Elmer Layden, Dennis Shea and George Strickland. Hugh "Shorty" Ray is considered to be one of, if not the, toughest Football Hall of Fame signature to obtain. The number of authentic examples known can be counted on one hand. Shorty Ray was known as the "unknown hero" of football, as his work with rules and officiating changed the game as we know it. Comes with JSA LOA.
