1941 World Series Ticket-Stub Collection - Complete Run (5)
Complete run of all five tickets issued for the 1941 World Series between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees. This was the first of an eventual seven meetings between the two clubs while the Dodgers were in Brooklyn. The Yankees won this first meeting in five games to capture their ninth World Championship in franchise history. 1) Game 1 (at New York). GD, with a horizontal crease. 2) Game 2 (at New York). PR-FR, with paper loss on the reverse. 3) Game 3 (at Brooklyn). FR-GD, with a staple hole and creasing. 4) Game 4 (at Brooklyn). FR, with paper loss on the reverse. 5) Game 5 (at Brooklyn). GD, with light creasing. All measure approximately 4.25x2.25".
