This offering includes eight pins from the October classics: 1) 1942 - The Yankees lost this wartime Series 4-1 to the St. Louis Cardinals; 2) 1947 - The Yankees beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 4-3 in Jackie Robinson's first Series; 3) The "Whiz Kids" of Philadelphia were swept by the New Yorkers; 4) 1955 - The Brooklyn Dodgers won their first and only World Series, in seven games, on a shutout by Johnny Podres; 5) 1956 - The Yankees defeated Brooklyn in seven games in a Series featuring the perfect game by the Yank's Don Larsen; 1958 - The Yanks defeated the Milwaukee Braves in seven games to avenge the Braves' World Series triumph over New York in 1957; 1960 - The Pittsburgh Pirates won this Series in seven games on the famous Bill Mazeroski home run; 1961 - In the year Roger Maris hit 61 home runs, the Yanks beat the Cincinnati Reds 4-1 in the Series; 1963 - The Los Angeles Dodgers swept the Yankees.
