1942 All-Star Game Decorated Baseball Decorated by George Sosnak
The 10th All-Star Game was the first ever to be played entirely under the lights. And this beautifully drawn baseball artwork from the artistic hand of the great George Sosnak gleams as bright as those Polo Grounds high beams. Signed by the artist and dated 1965, the ball features a depiction of Lou Boudreau hitting a home run off Mort Cooper. It is saturated with color and tons of micro-printing recounting virtually every detail of the 10th midsummer classic. The fully decorated ball is in NRMT condition and would make a wonderful addition to any display case. The American League prevailed in the game, 3-1.
