1943 Jake LaMotta vs. Jose Basora Site Poster (22x28”)
Rare tri-colored site poster from early in the “Bronx Bull’s” career. In their third meeting, with his title on the line, Jake again defeated his persistent opponent. Presented by “Nick Londes Matchmaker” the bill includes a great mug shot of Jake captioned, “The No. 1 Middleweight.” Small pencil marking reads, “Sept 17 1943 LaMotta D Jose 10rd.” One small water stain, light paper loss on the borders, & light creasing, o/w VG-EX.
