1943 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Press Pin
Rare 1943 World Series St. Louis Cardinals press pin, from their series with the Yankees. It is 2" in diameter with an actual pin on back, the front reads "Press, 1943, St. Louis" with a pair of redbird-on-bat images on a white baseball-theme background. With both rosters addled by key players fighting in World War II, the Yankees captured the title with a five-game series win. There is the typical ruffling to the paper insert into the celluloid that they ALL have. Actually, the paper was cut too big to fit, hence the issue. Otherwise EX-MT.
