1943 World Series Signed Program with Ruth and Landis
The flavor of the times, as well as a dozen celebrity signatures, are written all over over the cover of this 1943 Yankees-Cardinals World Series program featuring illustrations of soldiers and wartime workers listening to baseball on radios. Signatures include the Yankees' Babe Ruth, Red Rolfe and Charlie Keller, commissioner Kenesaw Mountain Landis, AL president Will Harridge, and Postmaster General James Farley. Ruth's is the best of all, in black pen, grading a good 9 but all others are clear and readable, 8s and near 9s.
