Incredible material from the Sheboygan Red Skins of the National Basketball League, precursor to the NBA and a future NBA team. This lot of photos are all by Bayens with their 1945 cartouche on each. Glorious matte finish images are of the utmost quality. The major piece is a team signed photo of the Sheboygan Red Skins, “Western Champions National Basketball League Season 1944-1945.” It is vintage signed in blue ink by the entire team of nine plus their coach Mangus Brinkman: Capt. Ed Dancker, Rube Lautenschlager, Mike Noock, Dick Schulz (pencil), Otto J. Ruppel, Al Lewis, Bob Holm (pencil), Tony Kelly and Al Muscheth. It is also signed by 25 others on the verso, including players and wives. Overall NRMT.
