1944 St. Louis Browns American League Championship Ring Presented to Outfielder Gene Moore (Family Provenance)

1944 St. Louis Browns American League Championship Ring Presented to Outfielder Gene Moore (Family Provenance)

1944 St. Louis Browns American League Championship player ring presented to outfielder Gene Moore. Most of the letters and markings are completely worn and this ring - currently size 8 1/2 - may have been resized but we're unable to confirm due to the wear. The center diamond was added later, "14k" stamped inside. Solid provenance as our consignor's stepfather was Gene Moore's son. That 1944 pennant was the only one captured by the Browns before they moved to become the Baltimore Orioles, making this prize rare and highly-desirable regardless of the evident wear.
