1945 Army vs.Navy Signed Goal Post (62")
Large section of the white painted goal post used during the Army-Navy Game of 1945. A historic season for the Army team as they went undefeated and captured the National Championship. On one side of the post, below the signatures of players Davis, Green, Nemetz, McWilliams, and Tucker, is painted, "The Army-Navy Game -1945-Army 32-Navy 13." The opposite side is taped with cut images of the team and individual players along with a written sheet with the teams record. Paint chipping and scratching, otherwise VG.
