1945 Willie Pep v. Phil Terranove Site Poster
On February 19,1945, at Madison Square Garden in New York, World Featherweight Champion Willie Pep met Phil Terranova in the featured bout. Pep retained his belt, winning a hard-fought 15-round unanimous decision. Presented here is an original, on-site poster for the bout. This poster is paper which has been professionally linen-backed. Pictured are both fighters, displayed in bold color and print with crisp, clear images. Clean, the item has no creases, but exhibits minor restoration at the edges and original folds and the borders have been replaced. Measuring 27x 39", this is a rare find, especially in this size featuring two important champions of the 1940s.
