1945 World Series Ticket Sign from Wrigley Field
From the last time the inhabitants of Chicago's North Side played in the Fall Classic, this cardboard Gate 2 sign from the 1945 World Series contains four mounted proof tickets for Game 6 at Wrigley Field. Measuring 10x14" and in Near-Mint condition, there are small chips on top left/right corners. This wonderful display piece depicts four different tickets; Standing Room ($3.60), Lower Grand Stand ($6.00), Mezzanine ($7.20), and Box ($7.20). Sadly, Game 6 remains as the Cubs' last series victory to date.
